For behavioral health professionals who are not trained clinicians, translating clinical jargon into real-usable language fosters better engagement with consumers and supports consumers in advocating for their needs. Person-Centered language is part of our efforts to reduce the impact of different types of stigma on consumers and their access to services and supports. (From 9:30 am - 12:30 pm) *Please note – Due to this content being a required area of expertise for trained clinicians (LCPCs, LCSWs, PhDs etc.) CEUs are not available for this training.
